Kitchens that work the way you cook

Kitchen remodeling in Ellijay and the North Georgia mountains: new layouts, custom cabinetry, stone counters and lighting done properly.

The kitchen is the room everyone ends up in. It should be the best room in the house, not the one you avoid. Too dark, too small, too dated, never enough counter where you need it: we hear it every week, and we fix it.

What we do

  • Layout and flowOpen a wall to the living area, move the island, fix the work triangle. Structural work is engineered and inspected.
  • Custom cabinetryBuilt for your walls and your storage, with the pantry and hidden storage that keep counters clear.
  • Counters and backsplashQuartz, granite and marble, and the statement backsplash that ties it together.
  • Lighting in layersTask, ambient and accent lighting so the kitchen works at 6 a.m. and at a dinner party.
  • Islands and seatingWhere the family actually gathers.

Our kitchen process

  1. In-home consultation. We listen: what frustrates you, what works, what you want. We walk the space and map a vision that fits your life and budget.
  2. Design and selections. Cabinet styles, layout changes, lighting and appliances, with professional guidance and curated options rather than overwhelm.
  3. Demolition and prep. We protect the rest of the house, keep dust down and keep the disruption short.
  4. Build and install. The crew shows up on time, communicates constantly and dials in every cut and joint.
  5. Walkthrough and closeout. Punch list, polish and a walkthrough together. Done means done right.

Because we build whole homes, a kitchen that needs a beam, a moved window or a new exterior door does not scare us. Most kitchens take four to eight weeks once materials are on site.

Kitchen remodeling questions

How long does a kitchen remodel take?

Four to eight weeks for most kitchens once cabinets and counters are ordered. Custom cabinetry and layout changes that move plumbing or walls run longer. You get the schedule before demo day.

Can you open up the kitchen to the living area?

Usually. We check whether the wall is load-bearing, design the beam and header properly and get the structural work inspected. Open-concept layouts are one of the most common requests we build.

Will I have a usable kitchen during the work?

Expect a stretch without one. We set up a temporary prep area where we can, seal the work zone and keep dust down, and we stage the work so the gap is as short as possible.
